Join us on Thursday, August 8 for the 4th annual Beach Cities Volunteer Day where organizations, families and residents across the Beach Cities will come together for one mission - to create a healthy beach community!

Our goal is to enhance our community’s health through the act of volunteerism. A simple act of volunteering can derive many health benefits such as higher rates of life satisfaction, social connections and longevity.

Support Beach Cities Health District's (BCHD) LiveWell Kids Garden Program by volunteering in our school gardens in Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach to help prep them for the upcoming school year. There will be various garden projects at each school including weeding, planting, harvesting, repairing and building garden boxes and more!

Participating organizations will be featured in:
• BCHD social media posts on Facebook,Twitter and Instagram (18,600+ fans/followers)
• A thank you ad in the Easy Reader and Beach Reporter
• BCHD’s press release
• A special Beach Cities Volunteer Day T-shirt (your logo included)
