Facts on Fentanyl - One pill can kill, but anyone can save a life

This workshop is hosted in partnership with Manhattan Beach Community Church, Torrance Memorial Medical Center and Beach Cities Health District. Students, parents and community members are invited to attend this panel discussion on the dangers of fentanyl and its presence in our community. Panelists consist of individuals from Torrance Memorial Medical Center, including:

• Gretchen S. Lent, MD - Emergency Medicine
• Felix Pham - Clinical Supervisor, Pharmacy
• Tammy Ginder - Assistant Director, Pharmacy
• Carol Dunne - Substance Use Navigator

This is an in-person event located at Manhattan Beach Community Church, adjacent to the Manhattan Beach Unified School District offices. Light refreshments will be available and participants will have the opportunity to take home a free Naloxone kit. Naloxone is a life saving opioid reversal medication when administered immediately after a potential opioid overdose.
